The new president and chairman of the governing council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, Dr. Ike Neliaku, has warned all those who are masquerading as public relations practitioners to desist as he will employ all necessary strategies to stop them.
The president who was speaking at a handover ceremony in his office in Abuja, said in whatever guise such people are operating, they will be fished out as he would work with the support of the government that gave them the power.

He said ridding society of quack public relations officers will be part of their contribution to nation building hence quackery in the profession no longer exists.
The NIPR boss, however, extended an olive branch to those who may wish to become a part of the institute to do so now and cautioned that if they prefer to remain where they are and think that they can practice, it will no longer happen.

The immediate past president of NIPR, Muktar Sirajo, while handing over administrative documents to the new administration, urged them to ensure the society always experience better development
According to him this council has no reason not to do better than his own administration did in all ramifications as they all have the capacity to deliver.
He further charged them to see that the recommendations of Rebooting Nigeria 2.O by government of the day are implemented.
