The Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo, has asked Ndi Anambra to hold him accountable for any single penny it receives on investments.
The governor stated this at a townhall meeting of Anambra indigenes resident in Abuja.
He said project Anambra is the only gosl as he would work with everyone irrespective of status, class or political affiliation to fulfill the vision for a prosperous Anambra state.
Governor Soludo reeled out his numerous plans aimed at making Anambra a liveable and prosperous homeland which include creation of a land bank for various kinds of development, working with EEDC to ensure 24/7 electricity, and stationing of well trained security officials in strategic places in Onitsha to check activities of hoodlums.
According to the governor, Anambra has all it takes to make life easier for the citizenry and for their businesses to thrive and called on Ndi Anambra to think home now as this is the right time to invest in the South East which will become the next business hub in the world.
Earlier in his opening speech, the Chairman of the occasion, Sir Emeka Offor, called for all hands to be on deck in driving the vision of the Soludo administration for a liveable Anambra.
He said ndi Anambra must jettison issues of political parties but uphold issues of the state for greater and faster growth.
The three Senators representing the three Senatorial zones of the state, Senators Ifeanyi Uba, Victor Umeh and Tony Nwoye were eloquent in their call and pledge for support to the Soludo administration.
