The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC says it has filed a six count charge against the Resident Electoral Commissioner of Adamawa State, Barrister Hudu Yunusa-Ari.
This followed the receipt of case files from the Nigeria Police after the conclusion of investigations into the alleged electoral offences during the 2023 General Elections.
A statement signed by the National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee, Barrister Festus Okoye, on Thursday in Abuja, said the six count charges were filed against Hudu Yunusa-Ari, at the Adamawa State Hight court sitting in Yola.
It will be recalled that the Commission had assured Nigerians of immediate action after it received the case file from the Police.
