Troops Of Operation HADARIN DAJI Sustains Tempo Against Bandits

Bandits in the North West zone of the country, are not finding it easy as Troops of Joint Task Force, Operation HADARIN DAJI, have sustained the tempo of its aggressive posture in the fight against terrorism, kidnap, banditry and other criminal activities in the area.
Reports say troops of Operation Hadarin deployed for Operation Forest Sanity, in an ambush operation at one of the terrorists crossing points in Anka Local Government Area of Zamfara State, successfully neutralised one terrorist and fatally injured several others.
An NGO focused on the anti-terrorism and anti-banditry campaign in Africa, YATAB Network, said, the information was disclosed to them by an infallible intelligence source familiar with the development.
YATAB Network, said the source had informed it that, at about 1130 hrs (11:30am) on 17th April 2023, troops of Forward Operating Base Anka deployed for Operation Forest Sanity conducted an ambush operation at an identified terrorists crossing point at Tungar Mai Rakuma village under Anka LGA of Zamfara State, following actionable intelligence reports on their presence in the vicinity.
The troops combed the general area and successfully neutralised one of the marauding bandits while others fled with fatal wounds.
It said the troops also recovered one AK 47 rifle and one motorcycle during the operation.
