DSS Calls For Calm As It Commences Investigation Into Manhandling Of Staff

The Department of State Services (DSS) says it has commenced a full investigation into the alleged manhandleding of its staff by some political miscreants in Adamawa State.
A statement signed by the Public Relations Officer, Department of State Services, National Headquarters Abuja, Dr Peter Afunanya, said the service would equally investigate circumstances that led to the incident.
Following developments arising from the supplementary governorship election in the State, social media was awash with a video in which someone suspected to be a staff of the DSS was seen being manhandled
The statement called on the citizenry to remain calm and implored concerned parties in Adamawa State to remain peace loving and shun violence as the service will unravel the truth soon.
