Zion Gate Orphanage Ends Year With Pomp

It was an evening of celebration as children of Zion Gate Orphanage and Charity Home garbed in their colourful uniforms thrilled guests with their performances at their end of the year party.
The children took turns to showcase their talents in choreography, cultural displays and Christmas carols.
In her speech, the Director, Social Services in Nasarawa State, Mrs Lydia Mark-Auta, was full of praises for the Chief Executive Officer of the home, Dr. Mrs Kaima Udeonu, who she said God is using to do an excellent job of safeguarding the children in a clean and serene environment.
She admonished the children to be mindful that God created them for a purpose and reciprocate the good care by being obedient and keeping to the rules of the home.
According to her, the Christmas season is a period of caregiving and prayed that God will make the children good and responsible in sound health.
Earlier, Dr. Mrs. Udeonu, welcomed the guests and thanked them for honouring her invitation.
She promised that she will continue to do her best in catering for the poor and needy especially orphans and widows.
The CEO of Zion Gate Orphanage and Charity Home, used the opportunity to announce the widow’s empowerment programme billed for the 22nd of December, 2022.
A journalist, Chief Christy Ndukwe, who could not contain her happiness digged it out with the children on the dance floor.
