Nigeria Troops Continue Onslaught Against Terrorists

As fuel queues keeps growing in Abuja the Fedral Capital Territory, FCT, the Director Defence Media Operations, Major General Musa Danmadami says troops of Operation RESTORE SANITY has arrested two suspected informants and bandits collaborators who are major suppliers of Premium Motor Spirit and other sundry items to bandits.
The suspects were arrested in Kwaita village in Kwali Area council of the FCT.
The Director made the revelations while speaking at the bi-weekly press briefing on troops activities and operational successes in the six geopolitical zones of the country.
He counted items recovered from the suspects to include two cows and sum of One Hundred and Forty Nine Thousand Naira (N149,000.00) only.
He said troops also raided a suspected drug peddlers hideout behind Kugbo livestock market hills in Abuja Municipal Area Council on 8th October 2022 and arrested one suspected criminal with packs of substance suspected to be hard drugs.
According to Major General Danmadami, all recovered items, arrested criminals and rescued civilians have been handed over to the relevant authority for further actions.
He also noted that on 13th October 2022, troops in conjunction with the Nigeria Police and Nigeria Immigration Service, NIS operatives intercepted 2 suspected fake National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) officials.
It was revealed that the suspects had visited Gagamari IDP camp in Niger Republic to register non-Nigerians in the IDP camp.
Items recovered from the suspects include National Identification Number (NIN) registration machine, printing machine, laminating machine, a computer tracking machine and a generator set among other items.
