Endorsements have continued to trail the aspiration of the frontline aspirant of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Hon. Uchenna Okafor (Wiper) for the Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency in the 2023 General elections.
Most recent was the endorsement by Omabala Women Traders Association, who visited him at his residence, Ozzu village, Awkuzu, Oyi LGA said they chose him for his capacity, and penchant for giving Women a sense of belonging.
Speaking during the visit, the leader of the group, Mrs. Caroline Onuorah (Okwuluoka Ayamelum) noted that the Women were in his home to confirm a message conveyed to him about a fortnight ago that the group had endorsed him for the Oyi and Ayamelum Federal Constituency under APGA.
She said they unanimously settled for him because he’s the best, humane and philanthropic saying that the Women will move into various wards in the Federal constituency to canvass for votes for him.
Responding, Chief Uchenna Okafor Wiper appreciated the Women for the endorsement, saying he got into the race in the first instance, to ensure that Ndi Oyi and Ayamelum, get the best representation possible and promised the Women that he will never to let them down.
