Senator Jonh James Akpanudoedehe, says he has been in the game for a long time because his people has been calling on him to run and he is inspired to serve them.
He said, “I believe that my party will win. I have been one of the founding member of the party, I play different roles in the party. I was the national Caretaker secretary of the party. I am the one to win election for this party”.
According to him, the number of people contesting all amounts to interest which may be different but once there’s an acceptable candidate; everybody will come together to win the general election for the party
He is confident that he will be supported by all especially the former governor, who he was his DG saying that politicians can fight in the media but it’s not true.
For Hon. Umar Bago representing Chachanga Federal Constituency of Niger State at the National Assembly who spoke to journalists after submitting his expression of interest and nomination forms, said, campaign continues for the primaries; as they’ve started and are going to continue to come out victorious.
He is optimistic no matter the type of primary adopted he will come out victorious since he is with the people so whether direct, indirect or consensus he is ready
He said that though nobody has been elected twice in his central constituency of Niger State, he has been elected 3 times by the grace of God which means he has served them very well and the clarion call is not his own call but the call of the people who want change, continuity, and Progress and this is the time for them all.
