The All Progressives Congress, APC, says female aspirants and persons with disability are to purchase its expression of interest forms for all the positions that they may be interested in while the nomination forms will be given to them free without any cost to them.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Barrister Felix Morka, who revealed this to journalists shortly after the National Executive Committee Meeting attended by President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice, Professor Yemi Osinbajo in Abuja noted that expression of interest forms will be paid for based on the scheduled fees that are announced for each of the positions by both female aspirants and persons living with disability but the nomination forms which costs more will be delivered to them for free.
According to the National Publicity Secretary, youths also got special consideration out of the meeting as persons aged between 25 and 40 are to purchase the expression of interest forms but with a discount of 50 per cent
Barrister Morka, listed prices of the forms to include presidential form which has been pegged at a total of 100m naira at N30m naira for expression of interest and the nomination form at N70m bringing it to a total of N100m on Party Forms.
He said the expression of interest form for governorship stands at N10 million naira while the nomination from is set at N40m naira bringing it to a total of N50m naira for the governorship.
For the Senate, the National Publicity Secretary, said, the expression of interest form is set at N3m naira while the nomination form has been set at N17m bringing it to a total of 20m for the Senate.
The House of Representatives, he said, has a prescribed fee of N1m for the expression of interest form and N9m for the nomination form thereby bringing it to a total of N10m for the House of Representatives adding that the expression of interest form for the House of Assembly has been set for N500,000 while the nomination form is N1.5m bringing it to a total of N2m for the state House of Assembly.
