The All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, has commenced the sale and return of expression of interest and nomination forms.
The exercise which commenced on 29th March is to end by the 11th of April and to be followed by screening of prospective aspirants from 20th April beginning with National Assembly aspirants to end on 27th April with the screening of State House of Assembly prospective aspirants.
Appeals on on the outcome of the screening will hold from 3rd to 5th May, 2022 all at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja.
Special congresses, primary election and determination of appeals will follow from the 10th of May and end by the 3rd of June, 2022.
Speaking with Savinews.ng, the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Victor Oye, promised that the party will run a free, fair and credible election as it will not want to create unnecessary tension amongst members and set a record that no other party in Nigeria can beat.
He however, cautioned that the party will apply all rules and regulations as stipulated in the party and electoral act.
The APGA boss, urged aspirants to bear in mind that they are coming to serve the people professionally, credibly, honestly, assiduously and not otherwise.
He said they should use the opportunity to showcase their manifesto and what they plan to do for the masses while the party uses it to show how far she’s come of age especially as APGA will soon be the rescue as some major parties are going under.
