The newly elected National Youth leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Temidayo Israel Abdullahi, says he will work to ensure that youths are carried along in the scheme of things in the party.
The APC national youth leader who was speaking, when he came to familiarize himself with happenings at the National Secretariat of the party, said challenges, such as unemployment owing to COVID-19 pandemic are not peculiar to the nation especially as Nigeria is blessed with people, resources, manpower, natural resources, strength and tenacity of the millions of young Nigerians who have refused to be broken.
According to him, Nigeria has entrepreneurs in all sectors of the economy and he will engage them on how to find solutions to address the challenges facing the country and youths.
He counted working with publicly elected officials under the All Progressives Congress, to ensure they fulfill their promises as one of the means of ensuring good governance especially ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Abdullahi, said, in order to ensure that young people between the ages of 35 and 40 occupy elective offices, he would push that they also get the 50 percent discount given women while purchasing forms
He also promised to dialogue with stakeholders in the education sector to ensure that ASUU strike is nipped in the bud and students go back to school.
