Eze Onyebuchi Chukwu Gets Tinubu Campaign Council Role In South-East
The push to mobilise young voters in the South-East ahead of the 2027 presidential election has gained a new political player, with the appointment of APGA National Youth Leader, Hon. Comrade Eze Onyebuchi Chukwu, as Deputy Director of Youth Mobilisation for the South-East in the PBAT/APC 2027 Presidential Campaign Council.
Chukwu, who also chairs the Forum of National Youth Leaders of Political Parties in Nigeria, will deputise Chief Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, in coordinating youth mobilisation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign across the region.
His appointment brings a serving youth leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) into a key role in the APC-led campaign structure, placing youth engagement at the centre of the party’s efforts to strengthen its presence in the South-East.
The role is expected to focus on rallying young people and building support for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 polls.
The appointment comes as political parties intensify efforts to win the support of young voters, a demographic whose participation could shape the outcome of the next presidential election.
