Officers in the state also recovered a stolen Toyota Prado belonging to the Chief Judge of Sokoto State and arrested a suspect.
Police in Nasarawa State recovered a locally made pistol, illicit drugs, suspected illegally mined minerals and cash during a raid on the residence of a suspected kidnapper, while efforts are underway to arrest the fleeing suspect.
In Osun State, detectives arrested a suspect over the alleged murder of a 12-year-old boy, while in Akwa Ibom State, two suspected drug dealers were arrested during an intelligence-led operation that also led to the seizure of large quantities of suspected Indian hemp.
