Unity Cup 2026: SMADE Entertainment Joins As Official Partner As Super Eagles Prepare For Title Defence
Football and culture will once again collide spectacularly as the organisers of the Unity Cup 2026 have unveiled SMADE Entertainment Group as the tournament’s official entertainment partner ahead of this year’s competition in London.
The four-nation tournament, scheduled for 26-30 May at The Valley, home of Charlton Athletic F.C., will feature Nigeria, Jamaica, Zimbabwe and India in a celebration of football, music and cultural identity.
Founder of SMADE Entertainment Group, Dr Adesegun Adeosun Jr, described the partnership as a reflection of the company’s long-standing commitment to uniting communities through culture and entertainment.
SMADE, co-founders of the globally recognised Afro Nation, is expected to bring vibrant cultural showcases from all four participating nations during intervals between matches.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles, defending champions of the Unity Cup, will open their campaign against Zimbabwe on 26 May in what organisers have tagged “The Rematch”, while Jamaica face India a day later in “The Culture Clash.”
The finals and third-place play-off will take place on 30 May, with organisers promising a carnival-like atmosphere featuring global food experiences and cultural displays.
The Unity Cup, returning to South London for the first time since 2004, is also expected to promote diversity, inclusion and community engagement through collaboration with Charlton Athletic’s Community Trust.
Tickets for the tournament are currently on sale via the Unity Cup Official Website
