FRSC Shakes Up Leadership As Corps Marshal Orders Strategic Redeployments Nationwide
When roads grow more dangerous, leadership must move faster, and the FRSC is making sure its top officers are positioned where they matter most.
The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, has approved a major redeployment of senior officers across key commands and formations nationwide in a bid to strengthen operational delivery and leadership oversight.
The reshuffle, which takes immediate effect, is aimed at aligning expertise with the Corps’ evolving road safety and administrative priorities.
Among the notable changes, Deputy Corps Marshal Pauline Olaye moves to the Department of Administration and Human Resources at FRSC Headquarters, while ACM Godwin Omiko, PhD, takes over as head of Special Duties and External Relations.
ACM A. Sanusi has been posted to lead the RS1HQ Kaduna Zonal Command, while ACM M.O. Olonisaye now commands RS2HQ Lagos.
Meanwhile, ACM A. Umar proceeds to the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).
Other strategic swaps include exchanges between RS5HQ Benin and RS11HQ Osogbo, and new postings for senior commanders in Ilorin, Abuja, Adamawa and Plateau States.
The Corps Marshal has directed all affected officers to ensure smooth handovers and assume duty immediately, expressing confidence that the redeployment will boost efficiency, responsiveness and service delivery across the country.
