RATTAWU Makes Mark At 55th Culture and Creative Economy Summit
The Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU) is gaining fresh momentum as it takes centre stage at the 55th Culture and Creative Economy Summit in Enugu, the Coal City.
Led by its President, Prince Emeka Kalu, RATTAWU’s active participation underscores the union’s renewed drive to forge strategic partnerships and influence policy shaping the National Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFEST) 2025.
The summit, convened to fine-tune the NAFEST syllabus and align states with the cultural roadmap, also featured the presentation of the NCAC’s modular projects, including Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship (ICE) initiatives and formats for the International Arts and Craft Expo (INAC).
Acknowledging NCAC Director-General, Obi Asika, for his vision and reforms, RATTAWU said the moment marked “a new beginning” for collaboration in the cultural sector.
“The time is now to raise the banner of a progressive, focused union,” said RATTAWU National Publicity Secretary, Comrade Izang Francis Atsen.
