PSC Warns Nigerians Against Fake Police Recruitment Adverts
The Police Service Commission (PSC) has warned Nigerians to disregard online adverts claiming that recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force for 2025 has commenced.
In a statement by its Head of Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, the Commission described the circulating advertorials as “fictitious and diversionary,” stressing that no official recruitment exercise has begun.
The PSC urged prospective applicants to be patient, assuring that the 2025 recruitment will soon be announced through its official channels and conducted in a credible, transparent, and fair manner.
It also cautioned fraudsters behind fake adverts to desist from misleading the public, warning applicants not to fall victim to scammers.
