Abuja All Stars Veterans Tournament: Quarter-Final Line-Up Complete After Dramatic Round Of 16
The race for veterans’ glory in Abuja is heating up as Karu All Stars, Gwagwalada All Stars, Likeminds All Stars of Kuje, and Apo Fitness Club clinched the last four quarter-final spots in the Abuja All Stars Veterans Invitational Tournament.
Karu All Stars edged a fearless MC Steve side 2–1 in a tense battle, relying on experience to outlast their relentless opponents.
Apo Fitness Club survived a late onslaught from Nurudeen FC to hold on for a narrow 2–1 win, while Gwagwalada All Stars needed penalties to see off Zeemichael FC after a 1–1 draw in regulation time, winning 3–0 in the shootout.
The most ruthless performance came from Likeminds All Stars, who cruised to a 4–0 demolition of Games Village FC, sending a warning to the rest of the competition.
