Transcorp Hilton Abuja Welcomes Global Hospitality Leader As New GM
Transcorp Hilton Abuja has named seasoned hotelier Martin Zarybnicky as its new General Manager, effective 1 August 2025.
With more than 30 years’ experience in top hospitality roles across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific, Zarybnicky returns to the Hilton family after managing the Hilton Sharm Waterfalls Resort in Egypt.
His track record includes driving operational excellence, leading major renovations, and earning multiple industry awards.
Transcorp Hotels Plc CEO, Mrs Uzo Oshogwe, said his wealth of international expertise will “enrich our culture and elevate the guest experience we are known for.” Hilton’s Vice President for Sub-Saharan Africa, Andreas Lackner, also praised his “strong history of impactful leadership.”
Zarybnicky says he is excited to work with the Abuja team to “showcase the warmth and excellence of genuine Nigerian hospitality” while positioning the 668-room landmark hotel for strategic growth.
