APC Fixes Date For Presidential Primary Results Declaration In Abuja
With political activities gathering momentum ahead of Nigeria’s next electoral cycle, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced plans for the collation and official declaration of its presidential primary election results in Abuja.
In an invitation issued by the party’s National Secretariat, the APC said the exercise would hold on Sunday, 24 May 2026, at the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The party stated that attendance would be strictly by invitation, with key stakeholders expected to participate in the high-profile event.
According to a notice signed by the APC National Secretary, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, invited guests include members of the National Working Committee, National Caucus, National Executive Committee, serving APC lawmakers, members of the Federal Executive Council, diplomatic representatives, observers, and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The party also extended invitations to selected representatives of women, youths, persons with disabilities, media personalities, and social media influencers.
APC further disclosed that accreditation for invited guests would commence from 7:00 a.m. at the Old Parade Ground, Area 10, Garki, Abuja, from where attendees would be conveyed to the venue.
State coordinators and collation officers were also directed to arrive in Abuja by Saturday evening ahead of the commencement of the results collation process.
