Military Operations Record Major Successes Nationwide
The Nigerian Armed Forces say they have intensified operations across the country, recording significant gains against terrorists, bandits, and criminal networks
In the North-East, troops of Operation Hadin Kai eliminated scores of Boko Haram and ISWAP fighters, dismantled camps, and rescued kidnapped victims during coordinated ground and air assaults in Borno, Adamawa, and Yobe States.
Similar successes were reported in the North-West, where joint forces neutralised terrorists, arrested collaborators, and freed dozens of hostages in Zamfara, Sokoto, Katsina, and Kaduna.
Troops of Operation Enduring Peace in Plateau and Kaduna States also arrested a notorious extremist, while those under Operation Whirl Stroke rescued kidnap victims and intercepted arms in Benue, Taraba, Kogi, and the FCT.
In the South-South, security forces foiled oil theft worth more than ₦11 million, destroyed illegal refineries, and arrested oil thieves.
Meanwhile, in the South-East, troops under Operation Udo Ka maintained relative peace in the region.
The Defence Headquarters assured citizens of its commitment to protecting lives and property, calling on Nigerians to continue supporting troops with credible intelligence.
