FRSC Raises Alarm Over Fake Recruitment Scam

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has warned Nigerians to beware of fraudsters posing as its officials and offering fake job opportunities.

In a statement, the Corps said scammers have been extorting unsuspecting applicants with false promises of employment, even issuing counterfeit call-up letters to training schools and the FRSC Academy.

The FRSC stressed that its recruitment process is transparent, merit-based and only announced through national newspapers, television, and its verified channels.

At no time, it said, are applicants required to pay money or give any form of gratification.

The Corps urged members of the public to disregard such offers and report perpetrators to the nearest FRSC Command, security agencies, or its official platforms.

Reiterating its commitment to fairness and integrity, the FRSC advised job seekers to verify all information via its verified social media accounts and official website, www.frsc.gov.ng.
