OSGF Confirms Yomi Odunuga’s Appointment As SGF’s Media Adviser
The Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF) has officially confirmed the appointment of veteran journalist, Yomi Odunuga, as the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the SGF, Senator George Akume.
A statement released on Sunday by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Segun Imohiosen, dispelled conflicting reports and public speculation surrounding the appointment, asserting that Mr Odunuga’s role is both formal and effective immediately.
According to the statement, Odunuga will provide strategic media advisory services to the SGF and work collaboratively with the Director of Information to strengthen the Office’s communication strategy.
The OSGF urged members of the public and media to disregard any contrary narratives and rely solely on verified updates from official channels.
“We look forward to leveraging Mr Odunuga’s extensive experience and expertise to further the goals of the Office and Government,” the statement added.
